Brownstein Hyatt cites development of industrial hemp in formation of business group


With industrial hemp and recreational/healthcare marijuna becoming what it calls additional “mainstream,” law firm and lobbying giant Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck stated it has made a new business group to accommodate the maturing markets.

The group will be co-chaired by Melissa Kuipers Blake, a shareholder in the Denver-primarily based firm’s government relations division, and Amy Steinfeld, a shareholder in its organic sources division.

Brownstein Hyatt has worked with customers on marijuana– and industrial hemp-associated problems for additional than a decade, according to the firm.
