Health-related cannabis could improve therapeutic efficacy in cancer remedy

More than the years, many in vitro and in vivo studies have shown the antineoplastic effects of cannabinoids (CBDs), with reports advocating for investigations of mixture therapy approaches that could improved leverage these effects in clinical translation. This study explores the possible of mixture approaches employing CBDs with radiotherapy (RT) or clever biomaterials toward enhancing therapeutic efficacy through remedy of pancreatic and lung cancers. In in vitro studies, clonogenic assay final results showed higher efficient tumor cell killing, when combining CBDs and RT. Meanwhile, in vivo study final results revealed big enhance in survival when employing clever biomaterials for sustained delivery of CBDs to tumor cells. The significance of these findings, considerations for additional investigation, and viable roadmap to clinical translation are discussed.
