A foggy start to the day with dense fog filling into the river valleys. Fog will continue to intensify through sunrise, so make sure to keep your headlights on and travel slowly. By 10 am fog will start to lift to create a partly sunny start to the day.
Plenty of sunshine
There will be plenty of sunshine to share this week, especially after the gloomy weather last week. Mostly sunny conditions are expected all week long. Yet, it won’t be true blue skies due to the hazy, smoke moving in from the west. It will not create air quality issues but will limit sunshine. In the first part of the week, temperatures will be near and above average. But those fall-like temperatures will make a return.
Even with gorgeous sunshine and a dry forecast, a frontal system will create breezy conditions tomorrow. Your trash can could be down the street with the potential of wind gusts up to 40 mph.
