Piers Morgan hit back at his fellow Good Morning Britain colleagues today after they ‘fat shamed’ live on air.
After returning from an ad break, Piers called out GMB’s Charlotte Hawkings for being on a diet and eating ‘green vegetable powder’ to try and curb the calories.
Piers then went on to express how he doesn’t believe in diets and explained instead how he’ll become a “lean toned machine” while trying to button up his suit jacket.
It is then when co-hosts Susanna Reid and Charlotte ‘fat shamed’ Piers by asking him to try and do his suit up again.

“I’m just arguing with Charlotte Hawkins because she’s on a health drive and diet,” Piers told viewers after returning from an ad break.
“All I said to you was if you want to think about reducing those cravings I’ve got this green vegetable power and it really helps,” Charlotte responded.
“I don’t want any green powder,” Piers exclaimed.
“I don’t believe in dieting, diets don’t work. It’s about portion control. You’ve got to put less in your gullet, drink less and exercise a bit more,” Piers continued.
While mimicking doing his suit jacket up to empathise his point, Piers said: “You will see as I become a lean toned machine that my theory is right because you don’t get those terrible highs and lows of dieting.”
“I’ve reduced my intake and what I put into my gullet and the weight is literally dropping off – I’m almost emaciated,” Piers added.
Cutting Piers off and referencing his earlier attempt to button his suit up, both Charlotte and Susanna quipped: “Do that jacket button up again.”
“You can both fat shame me all you like but you won’t be come Christmas you two gobblers,” Piers retaliated.
“I can nearly do it,” Piers laughed as he once again tried to do his suit jacket up.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
