Daly brings to Clearfield extensive expertise in building growth companies in the technology, consumer marketing and financial fields. Most recently, Daly was the NFC-Near Field Communications- evangelist with NXP Semiconductors, helping to lead market growth and adoption of NFC ecosystems and business models.

At NXP, Daly worked extensively with consumer brands, media vendors/agencies, governments and trade groups. He was also the driving force in building the Cannabis intelligent packaging space for the company. Previously, Daly founded Thinnaire, the first cloud-based ID management platform in the world. Daly was the first in the world to launch NFC programs for companies such as Nine West, Adidas, Proctor & Gamble, Kraft, Mondelez, Unilever, among many others.

Clearfield Communications, founded in 2020, leverages NFC technology to deliver critical reporting and enhanced management capabilities for government and industry, including cannabis.
